We’re looking for a talented Account Supervisor to join our team! The AS will manage scope and project activity across multiple divisions of a growing account, delivering successful results while building relationships and continuing to actively grow as a leader in the advertising business, at the Agency and for the Client. We’re looking for a positive leader with a bias towards action to join our dynamic team and enjoy a unique opportunity to work on an innovative, multi-industrial client business with global reach, headquartered in the Midwest.
Strategic and tactical day-to-day leadership of multiple businesses / business units with varying complexity to drive towards successful results
Manage development of creative product from input through completion
Lead planning, budgets, presentations and blueprint/roadmap development for divisions of responsibility
Manage and deliver on-going Client correspondence including status reports and conference reports
Develop reciprocally beneficial Client and cross-functional team relationships and contribute towards growing existing business
7-10 years of marketing communication experience with 4+ years of agency experience
Word, Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote skills essential; working knowledge of agency billing software a plus
Understanding of agency strategic and project management processes and ability to turn them into action for teams and themselves
Excellent written and oral communication skills; an active listener who can read a room and efficiently lead meetings/conversation
Experience managing junior team members (AE, AAE) and able to delegate the appropriate workload to that junior person while helping them grow
Experience creating scopes, contributing to forecasts, managing budgets and overseeing financial processes (estimating, billing) from an Account Management perspective
Able to guide/judge creative to be on strategy; offer concise input and direction to the creative department, to inspire and lead in the development of outstanding creative product
Experience in a technical or mechanical category and/or B2B trade communications/events a plus but not necessarily required
