Our incubator

We walk in our clients' shoes every day.

We’re entrepreneurs. And we love the business of brands.
So, no surprise we’ve built our own brands and are invested in others, giving them a helpful push on their way to exit.

We launched West Loop Beverage, LLC, in 2005 and successfully launched three beverage brands. This made SCC the first U.S. creative agency to be in business with its own CPG brands on retail shelves.

We developed the Rock Bottom Brewer’s Reserve Root Beer brand, product and packaging for Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant Chain.

We developed the nutri20 Vitamin Enhanced Water brand, product and packaging for Kum & Go convenience store chain

We developed the Hog Wash Juice Drinks brand, product and packaging. Hog Wash is a great-tasting better-for-you kids’ drink brand that is in broad distribution in mass, grocery and C-Store channels.

We exited West Loop Beverage in 2009 with a sale to Wis-Pak, Inc., the #2 Pepsi bottler in the U.S.

An independent Chicago agency has pushed the trend of ad shops creating their own product by building its own beverage brand and selling it to a major Pepsi bottler. Schafer Condon Carter has created and sold its brand in one of the most crowded, competitive and complex categories in consumer marketing.

More recently, Born Simple, a brand SCC created and launched in Whole Foods, was acquired in 2021 by Mizkan USA, makers of Ragu and Bertolli Pasta Sauces. It is now available nationally in Whole Foods, Target and a number of other grocery chains.

We’re entrepreneurs. And we love the business of brands. Our current incubator equity portfolio partners include Broken Shed Vodka (2022’s Fastest-Growing Vodka in the USA), and FoodHaul, a fast-growing national player in the virtual kitchen/food delivery space.
